Robbie, Fotograf und ursprünglich aus England, war dieses Jahr auf der Nordkette und hat das Geschehen oben am Berg fotografiert.

Sonnwendfeuer is a celebration of either mid-summer or mid-winter. Traditionally bonfires were lit to warn off evil-spirits and today the fires remain a central part of many national festivities. In the Alps this is no different; hundreds of bonfires, torches and beacons are lit along the mountain ridges and slopes creating a fantastic sight.
